Light + Building in Frankfurt is the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building technology. This is where innovation, design and smart installation technology come together. For brands it is the stage to be internationally visible and make a real impact.

For Ion Industries, specialist in high-quality switches, dimmers and smart control solutions, we again realized the exhibition stand. We have been working together for several national and international exhibitions and have previously built for them at the VSK and an earlier edition of Light + Building. The cooperation is close and familiar; we know the brand, the products and the ambitions.

National and International

The stand we realized for Ion at VSK this year formed the basis. For Light + Building, this concept was developed modularly into a larger, international version. More impact, more visibility and more space for demonstration.

Where the VSK stand was already strong in brand image and product presentation, they wanted to really stand out in Frankfurt. The stand was given a more powerful appearance, a larger surface area, more openness and a clear focus on product experience. At this fair, ION INDUSTRIES wanted to show what they stand for, and that had to be seen!

The result

Big on experience: 3D printed switches and dimmers

The absolute eye-catchers at the booth were the enlarged switches and dimmers, specially produced by us with our own Cialona 3D printer. These elements are not only visually impressive due to their size, but also fully functional.

Visitors could actually operate the switches and dimmers on the exhibition floor in Frankfurt, making the operation and quality of the product immediately tangible. For ION’s booth crew, this meant a powerful demonstration tool: technology became tangible, interactive and understandable.

The combination of scale, functionality and smart presentation created a striking and distinctive booth experience. A booth that not only showed products, but let visitors really experience them.
