The annual 2024 LiveDesign stand construction special has once again become a unique retention issue for parties involved in trade shows and events.

The magazine is, in fact, a source of information and contacts for organizers, marketers, brand managers and others alike.

As a player in the stand-building world, we obviously could not miss this. In this edition of the trade magazine you will therefore find a great interview with Tjeerd van de Kimmenade, the CEO and owner of Cialona. But also an interview with Sanne van Winkelhof about her visit to the Salone Del Mobile last year in Milan.

Cialona nearly 70 years of mastery in stand construction

At Cialona Expo, we have nearly 70 years of experience in creating and realizing unique exhibition stands.

We are truly a family business and Tjeerd says he is preparing to pass the baton to his eldest son Sebastiaan in the coming years.

In the interview with Tjeerd, he elaborates on Cialona Expo’s approach and how we are doing our best to become more sustainable and also continue to make strides in creating an experience for our clients and their booth visitors.

He also cites some great examples that we are proud of and hints at the future of Cialona.

Salone Del Mobile in Milan

Salone del Mobile is the world’s leading furniture fair held annually in Milan, Italy. Since its inception more than sixty years ago, it has grown into an international event that attracts design professionals, manufacturers and architects from all over the world.

So does Sanne, one of Cialona’s passionate designers.

The fair offers a broad platform for the latest innovations in furniture and interior design, products, modern furniture, lighting but also decoration. And the fair does not stand alone, but several events take place simultaneously throughout the city. During the fair week, Milan is truly the epicenter of the design world.
