Planning to take part in an exhibition any time soon? Of course, there’s a 101 things that need arranging beforehand (check out our exhibition checklist), but surprisingly, one of the most important aspects frequently gets overlooked: the location of your stand in the exhibition hall. Find out exactly who will be visiting the exhibition (you can almost always look this information up on the exhibition website) and try to work out how these visitors will move around from stand to stand. Did you know, for example, that people who orientate towards the right (i.e. those who drive on the right) will tend to go to the right when they enter the exhibition hall? If your target group has a tendency towards the left, then they will likewise proceed accordingly. It’s worth remembering when you book your stand space!
