As a proud member of IFES (International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services), we were represented again this year at the IFES World Summit. This took place in June 2025 in lively Guadalajara, Mexico. A special edition, as IFES celebrated its 40th anniversary, with the central theme, “Transforming Learnings into a Sustainable Future.”

A subject close to our heart as an international stand builder. Sustainability, cooperation and innovation are not separate concepts for us, but daily core values. They form the basis of how we build, think and look ahead.

Sebastiaan participated in the panel: Breaking Barriers - The Power of Reverse Mentorship

Sebastiaan participated on behalf of Cialona on the ITT panel “Breaking Barriers – The Power of Reverse Mentorship.” This talk focused on the power of mutual inspiration: young professionals challenging established leaders and vice versa. Because leadership is not about age, but about impact. It is precisely by listening to new voices and fresh perspectives that real change occurs.

A look to the sustainable future

During the Summit the rich history of IFES was not only reflected upon, but above all looked ahead. In inspiring keynotes, interactive work sessions and sharp panel discussions, one thing became clear once again: to remain future-proof as an industry, we must continue to learn, with and from each other.
