Intermediate

What is an intermediate position?

An intermediate booth is located between two other trade show booths and is one of the most common type of trade show booth. There are often many of these on the trade show floor. All the more reason to make sure yours stands out among all the others.

This type of stand is closed on three sides and one side is open which faces the aisle. So there is a brief moment available to ensure that the attention of the passing trade show visitor is caught. In addition to an enthusiastic booth crew, it is important that your booth itself stands out.

Often, an intermediate booth is a type of booth for smaller organizations or start-ups. By building this booth modularly, it can then grow with your organization. If you decide to expand the booth area after a number of trade show participations, the arrangement of fixed parts and branding grows flexibly with you.

Attract attention with an intermediate statement

And attracting attention during a trade show is something every trade show participant strives for. After all, a trade show is the perfect opportunity to bring your organization to the attention of target groups from the same industry. You only make a first impression once! Together with you, we will make sure that your target group does not just pass you by. Whether you choose an intermediate stand, corner stand, floor stand or island stand, we are at home in all markets and take care of your trade fair participation from A to Z.

The intermediate position also has great advantages. The set-up is such that there are three walls to deploy as desired. Think striking images, slogans, screens with content or another eye-catcher. In addition, the mezzanine stand always has a clear walk-in and a compact design.

The intermediate position with four walls

Tajima is a specialist in commercial flooring and presented a new product at Domotex: The Denim Floor. This new product was supposed to dominate Tajima’s intermediate booth. However, more products from their collection were exhibited, but the most outstanding product was The Denim Floor.

To make the intermediate stand out, an entire wall of the new product was placed in the center and filled with the The Denim Floor.

Any passerby looking aside did not fail to notice this product. By placing the extra wall in the middle with tables behind it to sit together with interested parties, this booth is different from the other intermediate booths in the row.

Standing out with a small booth

A smaller booth does not necessarily mean that trade show visitors will simply walk past it. However, you should think of a way to stand out. A large booth in an eye-catching color, people will not just walk by, an intermediate booth, on the other hand, might.

Handing out goodies or adding an interactive item to the booth is always valuable and will always attract the attention of multiple visitors. Having enough booth staff to address interested parties and show them the product is also important.

Tajima’s intermediate stand used a striking stand design, which is not common for such intermediate stands.

The area of the booth is not very large, which calls for a different approach. The extra wall in the middle is higher than the side walls and completely covered with Tajima’s product on which the focus is. Other products are displayed to the side, so that they are part of the booth but do not dominate. Similarly, a seating area was created at the front of the booth, which is inviting to passersby.

Choosing an intermediate position

It all starts with making a choice in an appropriate type of booth. Whether it’s a head- island- corner- or intermediate booth, it must fit your organizational goals, budget and appearance.

Next, optimal use must be made of the available booth space. Here, of course, we can help you. We have experience in realizing stand concepts of all shapes and sizes, as can be seen in our portfolio.
