The exhibition stand of one of our customers, Obeck Verpackungen, received a certificate at Vitafoods 2023 for the way the stand was put together. The focus for this certificate sustainable exhibition stand is on the use of materials and the reuse of stand components.
The Vitafoods Europe is the trade fair for food ingredients and supplements. Every year this fair attracts over twenty thousand visitors from all over the world. Vitafoods Europe showcases the greatest nutraceutical innovations, trends and peculiarities. And it does so not only through exhibitors but also by featuring expert speakers, pitches and panel discussions throughout the event.
Obeck Verpackungen is a specialist in packaging solutions and manufactures packaging of a very high standard. They are mainly active in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Every year they participate in a number of trade fairs, including thus in 2023 the Vitafoods Europe, where they have earned the certificate for sustainable exhibition stand.
For them, environmentally friendly, climate-conscious and sustainable business operations are enormously important, and it is an endeavor to make the organization increasingly sustainable. Their marketing and related trade show participation is also becoming more and more sustainable through collaboration with Cialona Expo and making certain choices.
The Informa Better Stands program from Informa Markets is committed to working together to move away from disposable stands in booth construction. But also for better quality, safety and therefore a better overall experience for the industry.
In short, they are thinking about achieving a sustainable(er) future for the event industry and encouraging exhibitors and booth builders to make greater use of reusable parts and materials.
During Vitafoods Europe 2023, the Better Stands Program was introduced to start moving away from disposable, single-use stands at events. The sustainable exhibition stand certification program divided into three phases: Bronze, Silver and Gold, as explained in the image above.
The exhibition stand we developed for Obeck Verpackungen GmbH has achieved silver certification.
This means we are leading the way in achieving high sustainability standards and improving the environmental impact in booth construction. Some items from Informa’s report are as follows: frame reuse, flooring, furniture, lighting, signing and displays.
