Gamma, the DIY store that every one of us has wandered into at one time or another. Gamma’s assortment includes products and materials for just about every job imaginable in and around the house. Whether you want to get started on a new gazebo, lay a floor or paint a wall, you’ve come to the right place.

The vt wonen&design fair

The vt wonen&design fair is one of the most popular housing fairs in the Netherlands. Of course, it has everything to do with the famous living magazine and TV programs “vt wonen”. It’s all about interior design, home furnishings, lifestyle and everything in between. It offers visitors inspiration, trends and ideas in the field of living, decorating and DIY.

Among the exhibitors are interior designers, furniture companies, lighting suppliers, bathroom and kitchen manufacturers, but also DIY stores such as Gamma are present here in large volumes. We designed and realized Gamma’s exhibition stand. But not only that! Namely also the stand of Ring. Both stands were done in collaboration with Hamilton Bright.

Exhibition stand with clear theme

At the vt wonen&design fair, Gamma’s booth was all about paint. They want to guide their customers in easily choosing the right color for their job. The stand therefore revolves around the products and services surrounding paint. There is a mixing station, numerous paint testers and also color scanners.

The color scanners allowed booth visitors to scan their favorite, personal color. You could then have this personal color converted to your paint sample at the Gamma Barista, or mixing station.

It’s no news that social media is also becoming an increasingly important component in trade shows. And especially at consumer fairs like the vt wonen&design fair, having a beautiful, eye-catching exhibition stand is very important. Now Gamma’s exhibition stand, we thought ;), was already very beautiful and photo-worthy in itself, but we still incorporated extra items for people to take a picture with.

For example, there is a huge paint star mounted on the wall, with a lick of yellow paint, that trade show visitors can take their picture with. It then looks like you are painting a wall with a huge paint star.

At the corner of the booth, there is a strip of pink paint running down the wall, with a pot of paint above it, making it look like the paint is running from this. And on the floor, there is another blob of paint sloshing up. Great for Instagram!
