the perfect introduction of a new brand to the Etos assortment

In collaboration with Hamilton Bright, we got to work on not one, but two pop up stores for Drogist Etos. In these pop up stores the new brand ” E.L.F ” was introduced.

The striking concept has not gone unnoticed. The magazine &C stated as a beauty lover you feel like a “kid in the candy store” here. The pop up store could first be found at Rotterdam Centraal for two weeks. After which it was then at Utrecht Centraal for two weeks.

What is a pop-up store?

A pop-up store is a temporary store that is only open for a limited period of time. What makes a pop-up store or pop-up shop unique is its ability to respond quickly to trends, seasons and special events. This allows brands to explore their markets, strengthen them and connect directly with their target audience.

Such a store can have different purposes and compositions, but it is very similar to a trade show booth. For example, it is only there for a certain period of time and often has the purpose of being in contact with the target audience.

The limited duration of a pop-up store, including through additional marketing, creates a sense of urgency and exclusivity, which can contribute to increased interest and visitor numbers.

Pop-up stores offer a unique way to be in live contact with the target audience, and the same is true of trade show booths.

The result

The introduction of a new brand

The Etos Pop-up Store aims to introduce a new makeup and skincare brand to their assortment. They are the first drugstore in the Netherlands to introduce the brand and are very proud of it.

As designer and builder, in collaboration with Hamilton Bright, the goal was to create a true “candy store experience” for the target audience. Makeup meets Candyland became the theme.

With its Instagram-worthy look and feel, it is not only a place to store but also can enjoy a fun shopping experience. Moreover, the setting also attracts all lovers to the store.The temporary store of the well-known drugstore has been open for two weeks at Rotterdam Centraal and then two weeks at Utrecht Centraal. They attracted considerable attention, both in the station halls and on social media. The activation did not escape any traveling beauty lover!
